Born in Luton, UK, and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, embarked on his musical journey over a decade ago. Mentored by producer/songwriter Michael “Mike” Bennett, he gained recognition with his breakout track 'Life’s Too Short'.

Tamo J has since honed his sound with singles like ‘Victory’, ‘Deliver Me’, and ‘Level Up’, showcasing his creativity and marketable appeal. His songwriting prowess extends to artists such as Sean Paul and Kranium.

Notably, his self-produced track 'Real Talk' placed 3rd in the 2021 JCDC Festival Song Competition and was under consideration for a Grammy nomination. With a growing following across the US, UK, and Europe, Tamo J prioritizes quality in his music, evident in his upcoming EP "Esoteric", set to release in the final quarter of 2024.
